So I went to my first rave last night, and there's no way to describe how awesome it was. Ed drove me and two other guys to it up near Baltimore, I think. It's like a huge, legal, yearly thing that happens. The cops know about it and they're cool with it and everything. There were 2 small tents, one with sort of rap music and one with techno. Then there was a small stage on the beach playing reggae (it reeked of weed down there, I wonder why? o: ) but they weren't very good. I was around Devin a lot in the beginning while Ed was off trying to find us some fun stuff. We eventually met up with two other friends who are a couple and came by themselves.

Nathan bought me flowers today. <333 I didn't believe him at first and I felt like he kinda just found them somewhere but then I couldn't think of where he would find them. They are pretty and smelly-good and pink. He must love me. o:

I can only hope that he went to get me flowers and not to get food but bought me flowers on the side. xD

I really need to take some time to review all my information in my training course. I just finished the last test and now I'm moving on to the hands-on portion. I'm very excited! :3 However, I need to know the information much better so I don't make a fool of myself in front of my mentor. nn; Also, the last section was about business building and I'm surprised with how much it interested me. @.@; I'm kind of looking forward to owning my own business in the future. I like making lists and plans when necessary so hopefully I don't get tired of that.

I'm just starting to realize that, if I get the hang of actually training dogs (practice, practice, practice!), I could definitely make this work as a nice source of income. And not hate doing it! Exciting, huh? n____n

On friday night I did a very stupid thing and decided to be honest with Nathan. I told him that I (think) am polyamorous. Now this was something he'd already guessed about me in the past so I didn't expect the huge explosion that happened. It frustrates me so much when I feel something that I'm unable to explain to others. For example, I'm sure Nate now thinks this means I love him less. That isn't true at all. That's not how love works! Love isn't like money or material possessions; you don't need to withdraw it from one thing if you want to give it to another.

Just think about children or pets. Say you have a dog you love very much, but later on you get another dog. Now you have two. It's possible to love these dogs the same amount without loving the first one any less. In fact, it might be better to have two dogs because you're sharing even more of your love, and therefore getting even more in return. Love knows no boundaries. I do not have limits on my capacity to love and I resent anyone ever thinking that.

However, Nathan is extremely important to me so I will respect his wishes. I wish I could just be allowed to cuddle or kiss or flirt with others, but I won't bring it up ever again. It hurts too much.

The trip was half falling on it's ass to begin with, and we almost ended up not going, but it ended up okay. Doron had to work the next morning so he was pushing to go to a corporate campsite rather than the middle of a random woodsy area so he could take the metro to work. So we didn't canoe across to an island on the potomac like someone mentioned, and instead went to a normal campsite. There were five of us in all and we had a lot of s'mores, some hotdogs, and excessive alcohol. Plus whatever pills were in that recurring little bottle SOMEONE kept pulling out of his pocket. ;p

It was pretty cool. We got a big fire going and there was delicious food and lots of drinking to be had by all. I really liked it until sleeping time. Nate ended up passing out on the pillow and so I didn't have much to sleep on except a half-collapsed tent that the dog had previously ruined. Sad day, I know. I fell asleep fairly fast though, partly from the alcohol consumption and partly from the mysterious little pill.

I felt really gross in the morning and the bathrooms were very substandard (not even any soap D; ) but it was all good. We had hot dogs for breakfast and headed home around noon I think.

Today I am very, very tired. =.= Also I vow to never go camping again because I've already pulled two ticks off me and who knows how many others are hidden away on unseen parts of my body. o:< I hate ticks.

So, I got a whole new slew of icons -- things are back to normal.

I asked Chrissy to cover for me on Thursday, and I would work for her on Monday, and she agreed so that's cool. Nathan and I want to go camping for a night with his friends. I hope they bring s'more fixin's and not just beer. :9 I guess I'll probably bring the dog because I don't know how long we'll be gone for. I'm really excited to get out of the house!

I talked to Jacie on the phone today to congratulate her on her engagement. :3 I'm so happy for her! Even though Kolby annoys me sometimes, I'm really glad he makes her happy. They seem to compliment each other's personalities and get along very well most of the time. The only other thing I have to say is that Kolby's mom is nuts. xD;;

So, I guess that's it for now. I'm gonna browse the shelter website and read about new dogs, then I will shower.

I worked an extra day this weekend. I don't usually go in on Sundays, but someone asked me to cover for them, and I figured why not? I didn't have any plans. Come to figure out later... LO AND BEHOLD I DID HAVE PLANS!

Turns out a bunch of people were going over to Doron's house to chill and I couldn't go because of stupid work. hfhjfhgds! Why do boys hate planning ahead so much? So I was really sad Saturday afternoon about Nathan going to hang out with friends and me being left at home to work in the morning. I miss him way too much when he's gone. I'm like a horrible parasite just sucking away at his life and I can't live without him. :(

Anyway, before he left we went to a neat Japanese Steakhouse which is a restaurant where they fry everything up in front of you and make a little show out of it. The chef was pretty cool, he was flipping his spatula and drumming and then he flipped food off the end of a utensil into people's mouths. I wish I could have been in a mood to properly enjoy it. The food was delicious, though.

In other news, I really need to study more. D;

Doo doo doot! The rebirth of my livejournal! I decided I needed a new name too, because sketchy really means nothing to me now. It was just a neat username I stole from someone on Neopets. Now, as you all know, I am a pirate. The first part of the name is probably less familiar, however. I'm trying to get a common user for most of the sites I frequent, and have finally decided on Tomo Saku, or just Tomo for short. Why, you ask? Because Tomoyo and Sakura are my favorite characters from my all-time favorite anime, Card Captor Sakura. Plus, they are cute. Honestly, what's not to like? I'm considering changing my email to something similar but I haven't decided yet. Simply because changing my email will be such a... task.

Anywho, this layout is in honor of Glitch, my first online love. ♥
